-Jamal Murray scored 50 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 119-107 win over the Utah Jazz and tie their series 3-3. He’s the first player since Allen Iverson in 2001 to have 3 straight 40+ point games in the playoffs. He’s also the 4th player in NBA history to have multiple 50 point games in one playoff series, joining Donovan Mitchell (who’s done it in this series as well), Michael Jordan, and Allen Iverson.
-Marcus Morris had another goon play during the LA Clippers win over the Dallas Mavericks 111-97 to win their series 4-2 and advance to the second round. Here’s the play, where he clearly swung on Luka. He got ejected, which is the right call.
-Yannick Ngakoue has been traded from the Jaguars to the Vikings for a 2nd and conditional 5th round pick. He then signed a one year, $12 million deal, which is almost $6 million less than he would have had in Jacksonville. He wanted out badly, I guess. This is a big loss to the Jags and I would assume is a huge gain for the Vikings. Pairing Ngakoue with Danielle Hunter creates quite a line, especially with Ifeadi Odenigbo taking this as a challenge and planning on outplaying him. You better throw the ball quick if you’re playing Minnesota this year.
