NBA Playoffs 2020 and NFL Signings

By: Frank Hyden

-The Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 110-101 to even the series at 1-1. The Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic with 26 points and 18 rebounds and Jamal Murray with 27 points. Kawhi Leonard has 0 points in the 4th quarter, that’s terrible and he should be embarrassed. I would expect a big rebound game from him in Game 3, but we’ll see.

-The Toronto Raptors beat the Boston Celtics 100-93 to tie their series at 2-2. Kyle Lowry led the way with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists and Pascal Siakam woke up and had 23 points and 11 rebounds. The Celtics got 24 points and 10 rebounds from Jayson Tatum but it wasn’t enough. This series could easily go 7 so it’ll be interesting to see how each team adapts and changes their strategies.

-The Milwaukee Bucks try to stave off elimination today at 3:30PM EST as they play the Miami Heat. They’re down 3-0 so the series is pretty much over but they need to put in an effort and not get swept or even push it to 6 if they can. And at 8:30PM EST the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers play. Houston is up 1-0 so the Lakers need to play well and even the series tonight.

-Adrian Peterson is signing with the Detroit Lions. Jadeveon Clowney is signing with the Tennessee Titans. The Titans should be really good on defense, Clowney only makes them better. As for Peterson, he might provide a little pop but I don’t know.
