The Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday 111-98 to force a Game 7 tomorrow at 9PM EST. Nikola Jokic had 34 points and 14 rebounds and 7 assists to lead Denver while Jamal Murray had 21 points. The Clippers were led by Paul George with 33 points and Kawhi Leonard with 25 points and 8 rebounds. The Clippers were up by 19 points but choked it away. That’s terrible, and is the second game in a row they’ve blown a big lead. They can make people forget that if they win and advance to face the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, but if they lose, that’s the story. All this talent and they’re blowing big leads? It just makes you shake your head. Jokic has been playing so great and he accurately said that the pressure is all on the Clippers. I don’t think I’d say Denver has no pressure but it’s not much, if they have any.
