Steelers, Titans Both Win Close Games

By: Frank Hyden

-The Tennessee Titans won a close one, 16-14 over the Denver Broncos last night. Ryan Tannehill threw 2 TDs for Tennessee while Drew Lock threw 1 TD for Denver. Stephen Gostkowski missed 3 FGs and 1 PAT but hit the game winner with 17 seconds left. Yikes, that’s a rough night. Derrick had 116 yards rushing and Corey Davis had 101 yards receiving for the Titans.

-Ben Roethlisberger shook off some shaky play early and threw 3 TDs, 2 to JuJu Smith-Schuster, for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they beat the New York Giants 26-16. Benny Snell Jr. had 116 yards rushing for the Steelers. The Giants were only down 19-10 and were driving when Daniel Jones threw a killer INT on the goaline. Give credit to Bud Dupree for the hustle to hit his arm but Jones has got to be more aware of his surroundings. That was on the 19th play of the drive. If they score a TD there, things could have played out far differently. Jones threw 2 TDs to Darius Slayton but also had 2 INTs.
