The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets had a wild Game 2 yesterday. The Lakers were led by Anthony Davis with 31 points and 9 rebounds and LeBron James with 26 points and 11 rebounds. The Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic with 30 points and 9 assists and Jamal Murray with 25 points. The Lakers had a 16 point in the 3rd quarter but gave it away as Denver actually took the lead with seconds to go before Davis hit a 3 to win 105-103. It was a great finish and exactly what the Lakers brought Davis in for. Also, LeBron didn’t play well in the 2nd half but Davis played great.
If Denver loses this next game it’s almost over. The Nuggets have come back from 3-1 in 2 straight series but surely they can’t keep coming back like that, can they? Also, 3-0 is different than 3-1 but I guess it’s not that different. I don’t know, I think Denver can win this next game and be okay but if they lose I think the series ends in 5 games. The Lakers seem to be playing with a lot more energy and chemistry than the Clippers were.
