Lakers Beat Heat In NBA Finals Game 1

By: Frank Hyden

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Miami Heat 116-98 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Lakers were led by LeBron James with 25 points and 13 rebounds and 9 assists and Anthony Davis with 34 points and 9 rebounds. The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler with 23 points. The story was Miami’s injuries. Bam Adebayo hurt his shoulder, Goran Dragic hurt his foot, even Jimmy Butler rolled his ankle but he was able to keep playing. This was a blowout and if any of these injuries are serious, the whole series will be a blowout. It’s not looking good for the Heat, but it’s only Game 1. I want to see what changes Miami makes for Game 2, then we can start talking about if it’s over in 4 games or more.
