-The Denver Broncos beat the New York Jets last night 37-28 to get their first win of the season. 3rd string QB Brett Rypien threw 2 touchdowns but also threw 3 interceptions. Melvin Gordon had 107 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. The Jets only scored 1 touchdown on offense, a 46 yard run from Sam Darnold. Pierre Desir had a Pick-6 of Rypien and San Ficken went 5/5 on field goals. Adam Gase needs to be fired but apparently sources are saying he won’t be. What the hell are they waiting for? Gregg Williams needs to be fined and suspended for the cheap hits by the Jets defense, as well as the guys who did them.
-Doc Rivers has signed a 5-year deal to be the next head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers. Let’s see if Rivers can get the most out of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Tobias Harris. I’m thinking he can have some success and get them farther than they’ve been, but we’ll have to wait to see.
