Heat Beat Lakers, Down 3-2 In Series

By: Frank Hyden

The Miami Heat beat the Los Angeles Lakers 111-108 behind Jimmy Butler’s 35 points, 12 rebound, and 11 assist triple double. Duncan Robinson chipped in 26 points for the Heat as well. The Lakers were led by LeBron James with 40 points and 13 rebounds and Anthony Davis with 28 points and 12 rebounds. The Lakers are going to try to finish the series Sunday night at 7:30PM EST. I tell you, they better do it in Game 6 because if it goes to Game 7, watch out. I still think the Lakers win the next game because LeBron should be very aggressive but man, if it gets to Game 7 the nerves in LA will be crazy. Butler has been playing so unbelievably well. People want to ask if LeBron or Anthony Davis should be Finals MVP, I would go with Jimmy Butler, he’s been the best player on the floor for a lot of the games. LeBron is close but damn, Butler has been so great.
