-The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense set the tone in their matchup against the Green Bay Packers, giving the Pack their first loss 38-10 and sending them to 4-1 on the season. The Bucs improved to 4-2 harassed Aaron Rodgers and made him uncomfortable all game.
-The Tennessee Titans moved to 5-0 on the season as they beat the Houston Texans 42-36 in Overtime behind Derrick Henry’s 212 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and 52 receiving yards. Ryan Tannehill had 364 yards passing and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception. The Texans tried for a 2-point conversion late to take a 9 point lead but didn’t make it, allowing the Titans to tie it with a late touchdown and force overtime, where they won the toss and the game. The Texans drop to 1-5.
-The Baltimore Ravens improved to 5-1 as they barely staved off a late comeback from the Philadelphia Eagles 30-28. Philly went for 2 after a touchdown but couldn’t convert and the Ravens ran out the clock. The Eagles fall to 1-4-1.
-The Atlanta Falcons picked up their first win of the season as they drubbed the Minnesota Vikings 40-23. Both teams are 1-5.
-The Pittsburgh Steelers destroyed the Cleveland Browns 38-7 to move to 5-0 as the Browns fall to 4-2. The Steelers defense was all over Baker Mayfield, getting him pulled from the game to protect him from further punishment.
-The Indianapolis Colts rallied from 21 points down to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 31-27 and improve to 4-2. The Bengals fall to 1-4-1.
-The Detroit Lions got to 2-3 on the season as they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-16 and dropped them to 1-5.
-The Chicago Bears moved to 5-1 as the beat the surprising Carolina Panthers 23-16. The Bears defense was too much as they harassed Teddy Bridgewater all game. The Panthers fall to 3-3 with the loss.
-The Washington Football Team went for a 2-point conversion and the win in the final seconds but couldn’t convert and the New York Giants won 20-19. Both teams are now 1-5.
-The Denver Broncos beat the New England Patriots 18-12. Cam Newton looked uncomfortable all day, throwing 2 interceptions as he returned to game action after time away. Both teams are now 2-3.
-The Miami Dolphins moved to 3-3 as they destroyed the New York Jets 24-0 and kept them winless at 0-6. The Jets are a dumpster fire, completing a trade last night where they sent their starting nose tackle (and one of their captains) Steve McClendon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. How Adam Gase still has a job is unbelievable. Fire the GM while you’re at it.
-The San Francisco 49ers improved to 3-3 as they beat the Los Angeles Rams 24-16. The Rams drop to 4-2.
