I had some personal stuff pop up that delayed me this week.
–The New Orleans Saints crushed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-3. So much for the Bucs being the best team in the NFC, as many had claimed. Saints are 6-2, Bucs are 6-3. Drew Brees threw 4 touchdowns and Tom Brady threw 3 interceptions. Yikes.
–The Houston Texans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-25 to improve to 2-6. The Jags fall to 1-7.
–The New York Giants beat the Washington Football Team 23-20 to move to 2-7. Washington falls to 2-6.
–The Baltimore Ravens beat the Indianapolis Colts 24-10 to improve to 6-2 as the Colts drop to 5-3.
–The Minnesota Vikings beat the Detroit Lions 34-20 as both teams are now 3-5.
–The Tennessee Titans beat the Chicago Bears 24-17 to get to 6-2. The Bears fall to 5-4.
–The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Carolina Panthers 33-31 to improve to 8-1, the Panthers fall to 3-6.
–The Buffalo Bills beat the Seattle Seahawks 44-34 to get to 7-2 as Seattle drops to 6-2.
–The Atlanta Falcons beat the Denver Broncos 34-27 to move to 3-6 as Denver drops to 3-5.
–The Las Vegas Raiders beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-26 to improve to 5-3 as the Chargers drop to 2-6.
–The Miami Dolphins beat the Arizona Cardinals 34-31 as both teams as now 5-3.
–The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to beat the Dallas Cowboys 24-19 to stay undefeated at 8-0. Dallas drops to 2-7.
–The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets 30-27 to get to 3-5 and keep the Jets winless at 0-9 as they kicked a field goal as time expired.
