-The Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears 19-13 last night to improve to 4-5, having won three games in a row. The Bears drops to 5-5, having lost 4 in a row. Kirk Cousins threw 2 touchdowns to Adam Thielen, the first one being an amazing one-handed catch, and the Bears offense once again looked like crap. Their only touchdown came on a 104 yard kickoff return by Cordarrelle Patterson. They got to figure something out, because that defense and special teams deserve so much better than this garbage offense. Maybe I’m being too harsh on them, but it’s just so frustrating to watch. Especially because you see them go down the field sometimes and have success. Then, you see them have 4 drives and 3 yards of offense in the 3rd quarter.
-Drew Brees has multiple fractured ribs and a collapsed right lung and will miss time. Optimistically, they’re saying 2-3 weeks but I think he’ll be gone at least a month. We’ll see, though, hopefully he recovers quickly. Jameis Winston will be the starter for New Orleans in his absence.
