I’ll eschew my usual Good, Bad and Ugly format for this episode. This was like the WWE’s Tribute to the Troops episodes, you know what’s going to happen and there’s no angles, just matches. The Dark Order members were in every match and they got the win everytime. The purpose of these kinds of shows is just to entertain you and give the wrestlers an outlet to express themselves, whether it be sadness or gratitude.
The show opened with a 10 bell salute to Brodie Lee (Jon Huber) and finished with a ceremony with his wife and oldest son -1, Brodie Lee Jr. in the ring and -1 being named the TNT Champion for life. In between were the matches and videos from the wrestlers. The matches were-
Colt Cabana and The Young Bucks beat Matt Hardy and Private Party
Stu Grayson, Evil Uno, and Lance Archer beat Eddie Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade. Archer dressed in jeans and wifebeater, ala Huber’s WWE persona Luke Harper
Alex Reynolds, John Silver, and “Hangman” Adam Page beat MJF, Santana and Ortiz. Erick RedBeard (Rowan) ran in to fight off Wardlow, who was interfering. There was also a cool part where MJF went off on -1, only to eat a kendo stick shot in return.
Anna Jay and Tay Conti beat Penelope and Britt Baker
10, Cody Rhodes, and Orange Cassidy beat Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Brian Cage. After the match, Darby Allin and Sting came out to join the faces and run off Team Taz.
The show ended with a great tribute video to Huber, showing behind the scenes pictures of his life with his family and friends. This was a great show and a fitting tribute.
