The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense dominated the Kansas City Chiefs and only allowed 9 points en route to winning the Super Bowl. Tom Brady won the MVP (quarterbacks usually win) but the real MVP was the defense. The unit as a whole should have won the award, there were a few standout players (JPP and Shaq Barrett primarily) but it was the collective performance of them all that truly won the game. They harassed Patrick Mahomes into the worst game he’s ever played and they didn’t allow a single touchdown. A remarkable job.
